Fire Extinguisher Supply & Maintenance Services

Reliable. Certified. Compliant.

Fire extinguishers are your first line of defence against small fires—but only if they’re fully operational, correctly installed, and regularly maintained. We supply, commission, and maintain fire extinguishers in full compliance with current UK fire safety regulations and British Standards.

Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places a general duty on employers to maintain workplace safety, which includes proper upkeep of fire extinguishers. BS 5306 Guidance emphasizes that the Responsible Person must continually review coverage, especially when hazards or building usage change. Extinguishers must be clearly located and staff trained in their use.

  • Provide appropriate firefighting equipment
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in working order
  • Keep up-to-date service records
  • Failure to comply could result in fines, prosecution, or invalidated insurance.
  • You are legally required to have all fire extinguishers installed, commissioned, and maintained by a competent person—ideally someone BAFE SP101 certified.
